Staff Suggestions Scheme
It is an incentive award scheme to encourage civil servants to make improvement suggestions on civil service efficiency. A Central Staff Suggestions Vetting Committee is set up in the Civil Service Bureau to handle improvement suggestions with service wide implications from all members of the civil service. Departmental Staff Suggestions Vetting Committees are set up at departmental level for considering suggestions for improvement to their own operations and/or management. Awards may range from a certificate of commendation to a cash award.
