Strengthening Professional Competence
The College is dedicated to meeting the training needs of civil servants at all levels, continuously strengthening their professional competence and reinforcing their sense of mission to serve the public.
We offer a series of training programmes encompassing areas of innovation and technology (I&T) application, media communication strategies, language and communication, performance management, and human resources management (HRM) in the civil service, for civil servants to stay updated on the knowledge and skills required at work throughout their career.
Innovation and Technology Application
I&T application has all along been one of the key training areas of the College in support of the Government’s drive to build a culture of innovation and continuous development in the civil service, and to enhance civil servants’ related knowledge and skills.
We infuse elements encouraging I&T application into our programmes and collaborate with different government departments and organisations to engage experts, academics, industry practitioners and government officials to introduce the latest I&T developments and share experiences. The training content covers global trends of the digital media, data sharing and the use of social media in public service delivery, etc.
